I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support in the recent elections. For the upcoming year I am looking to all of you for help and ideas to improve our Lodge.

A suggestion box will be placed in front of the bar for anyone wishing to submit ideas, questions or concerns. You may also reach me at my home number(327-9078) and I will return all calls. The Executive and myself are also available via the email address on this site or drop by Friday nights for dinner where you will find many of us ready to listen.

On Friday July 1st the Men & Women of the Moose held a Strawberry Supper with over $500 going to support the new Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre (SMRCC) at Royal Victoria Hospital.

Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy a delicious dinner consisting of Ham and Assorted Salads all topped off with a wonderful Strawberry Dessert. Dinner will be served from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. or while supplies last at a cost of $8.00 All this and entertainment by Serenity Road.

Through the Radio for Radiology Campaign, KICX 106 and the Dock 104.1 radio stations with support from the local Communities are raising $500,000 that will go towards the purchase of a new Interventional Radiology Machine for the SMRCC at RVH in Barrie. This highly specialized machine permits doctors to perform procedures by making tiny incisions to help treat cancer. Not only are IR procedures typically less expensive than surgery, patients return to normal activities much faster and the risks, pain and recovery are significantly reduced.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support the Moose Lodge Radio for Radiology Pancake Breakfast this morning. It was a beautiful sunny Spring morning, and we were able to raise $500 in support of R for R and the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre.
