There will be a Dinner Theatre Benefit on Saturday October 2nd in aid of Radio for Radiology. There will be door prizes, draws, a Roast Beef dinner with dessert followed by a wonderful variety show by "The Entertainers. A limited number of tickets at $20.00 per person are available at the Lodge or by calling 326-8386

KICX 106 and 104.1 The DOCK radio stations are raising $500,000 to support the new Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre (SMRCC). The "Radio for Radiology Campaign" will raise funds that will go towards the purchase of a new Interventional Radiology Machine (IR machine). This highly specialized machine permits doctors to perform procedures by making tiny incisions to help treat cancer. Not only are IR procedures typically less expensive than surgery, patients return to normal activities much faster and the risks, pain and recovery are significantly reduced.

Come on out and enjoy a wonderful evening while at the same time helping to bring 1st rate Cancer treatment closer to home.

On Friday March 26th the first barbecue of the Season was held. The turnout was great with over sixty people enjoying a wonderful barbecued dinner of Steak, Chicken or Pork Chops served with Salad, Baked Potatoe and Dessert.

Due to the interest people expressed in these barbecues, it was decided to try having them twice a month. April 16th proved to be another succesful evening, as about sixty people enjoyed another great barbecue dinner. They have found the secret, do you know anywhere else to find a fantastic barbecue Steak dinner for $11.00?

Hello, Co-workers and Brothers of the Orillia Moose Lodge

For your convenience we are enclosing calendars of the Lodge events currently scheduled for the next four months. The Lodge is in need of some voulunteers and would really appreciate if we could get some different people out to help with these upcoming functions. If you are available to help with any of the events, please call the lodge and leave a message or come in the day of the event. If you have an hour or two to spare but not sure what you can do to help, we would appreciate a message at the Lodge as we have lots of jobs that we would love some help with.

You will see on the calendars that there are a few things coming up, however, we would love to receive some ideas and/or suggestions from you for other events or ways to improve current ones. Remember this Lodge belongs to ALL members not just a few, and we would love to know what you would like to see happening.

It would be great if everyone could volunteer a few minutes, few hours or few days, however, we know that is not always possible. If you are not able to help at this time we would love it if you just come on out see your friends and enjoy some of the fun activities that are planned as without Member participation functions fail.
